If you have an idea of what you want or even if the idea
of wiggling a mouse makes you think of putting out cheese laden traps, I
can help. I have worked on many different sites from developing
a concept through full implementation. I work closely with my clients to
ensure that the final product fulfills my clients' excitations.
There are two major factors
that define the success of a web site. The first being the functionality
and the second being the aesthetic quality of the site. Far too often a web
designer will concentrate on one of these elements to the detriment of the
other. A site that is beautiful to look is useless if the visitor can not
figure out where to go to get what he or she wants.
Likewise a site that is easy to
navigate but visually un-engaging will not hold a visitor's attention. As
a web design with a Fine Arts education and project management experience,
I have both the eye for aesthetic quality as well as the organizational know
how to combine the visual and technical aspects into a well-balanced web
site. Before I start with a project I try to get a feel for exactly what
my client wants and needs. I also will make suggestions along the way to
try and help someone who is nor really sure what is needed for their business
or group.
As I tend to provide design services
for small businesses and non-profit organizations this has helped to develop
a very symbiotic relationship between myself and my clients with both sides
working together to come to a finished product that best exemplifies both
the vision of the Client and the technical demands for a properly functioning
site.
